The service of the staff was very kindly and polite. The internet works good In the rooms. Big water park with 3-4 different pools. Magnificent and outstanding sauna world with 7 saunas include sauna shows, next to the saunas there’s nicely pools.

Aquapark and staff was fantastic with upgrade to apartment. Food was amazing and value for money. Have been many times to high tatras but this stay was great and will be back again.

We visited in the 2nd week of January as a couple in our 30’s for 2 nights. After landing at 11am we had our bags in minutes! Went outside and asked a taxi how much to Aqua city, he said 15 with his fingers, I declined as I thought it was cheaper, next taxi I didn’t ask, just went with the meter, 5.60 euros!!! Arrival at Aqua city Seasons was seemless, easy check in and our room was ready early at 12 pm. We had emailed prior and requested a room away from the railway line. We got room 411, it was clean and tidy, had the usual amenities like mini bar and tea/coffee. There was a door onto the rooftop terrace where we could walk along and view the outdoor pool or mountains. We used the robes and went to the spa, from Seasons you can get the lift down, scan through a door and you appear in the aqua zone changing area, it took 2 minutes from room to the spa! The spa was pleasant, warm and dark, its takes some exploring as there are lots of corridors and hidden rooms and pools. The strong head, shoulder jets were great. Lots of nice saunas and steam rooms, one steam room was too hot to sit on the top level and boiling water dripped off the ceiling. Spa procedures – scan through, walk through the changing are to spa reception to get a bath sheet, return to small spa changing, undress and make your way into the spa areas. They say no textiles in the saunas and steam rooms due to materials degrading, you can wear costumes in the spa pools but many didn’t as you had to go and get changed again, there were quite a few naked bodies around in the pools and in the saunas and steam rooms, so what! We’ve been to German spas so were not phased at all. When in Rome and all that. Some people wore costumes in the saunas but just hid them by wrapping up in the sheet. It wasn’t very well policed. My wife had a sports back and indian head massage by a big slovakian man, best she’s ever had! The large pool complex, outdoor pools and slides were all great fun.

One of kids most favorite Aquapark. Good fan whole year around for acceptable prices.

It’s nice. There is almost everything you could imagine. Nice hotel, close to the mountains. If the weather is not for nature, you can just spend all day in many types of pools, saunas etc. A lot of things for kids as well. I miss a bit of charm and cozy atmosphere. Otherwise nice.

I’m a big fan of this place. For such price you will not find 4 stars hotel with such elegant restaurant, saunas, swimming pools. Lovely view for Tatry mountains. During summer time additional outside pools open. Great place for families with small kids. Starting with special pools, lot’s of places were kids can play and have fun. Parking next to the hotel. Hotel is not far away from the center of Poprad, approx. 15 min walk. I strongly recommend this place.

Almost ten years ago I visitied AquaCity. I cannot believe the transformation. I really enjoyed the original hotel the the addition of the Mountain View is outstanding. They have added so much since I last went I don’t know where to start.
The new childrens’ attractions are great – as is the new Laser shows and even more another Spa centre which mean we can relax while the kids play. Nows it’s about two hours from Luton so another reason to go. The added bonus few Brits – enjoy it.

We had a lovely stay here! The hotel’s facilities were absolutely fantastic and the staff were really friendly. We will definitely stay here again, it was so relaxing and we spent most of our time in the amazing Wellness centre. Definitely consider staying at this hotel should you wish to have a get away on a little retreat. It was superb from start to finish, good value for money as well! Thank you for everything!

We booked through a great deal on Wowcher which was £129 for 3 nights half board including all facilities and cryotherapy. We had to book flights which were only 50 pounds each return from London Luton.
The airport is very small which makes the experience even easier.  Transfers were also included and when we arrived at reception we were already very impressed! Staff at the desk were fluent in English and very polite and courteous.
We requested a room on the top floor and on arrival we couldn’t believe how nice it was. It had a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains, a large bathtub to soak in and even a reasonably priced minibar. Facilities in site were our of this world. We didn’t take our children but there were so many times we wished we had as there is so much to do for adults and kids. The spa and wellness centre was the best I’ve ever seen, the pools were varied and warm and the laser show at night was fantastic. We did the cryotherapy where you walk slowly In a room for 3 minutes at -130°C which has health benefits…certainly an experience. We tried some skiing which was a 15 minute ride from the hotel. We also walked to the shopping areas of Poprad which even in the snow was am easy walk. The food was excellent with a good variety of flavours from all over Europe. The waiters and waitresses were very polite and tried to translate even if their English wasn’t fluent….it’s better than my Slovakian!

The only minor point was the room was very hot. There was air-conditioning but we couldn’t figure it out. If we’d asked I’m sure the friendly staff would have helped.

I really hope they put an offer on groupon again as I want to take my whole family and my brothers family next time.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in and Poprad is a beautiful place to stay!

We had a little over a week here and had a truly super time. The AquaCity complex itself is in town, not in the mountains, and sits between two old town centres. At first I thought ‘crikey, it’s an old Soviet training centre’, and certainly the main swimming pool originates from those times, but they have really upgraded the whole place. The Mountain View is a small hotel extension added to the north of the swimming hall and does have a view of the Tatras. They are so close that on clear days we could see skiers on the slopes.
The room itself was spotless and very well appointed. It felt very clean and ‘Danish’, and we had robes and a large bathroom. A short walk down to the main hotel area brought you to the reception area, which has a nice bar/coffe bar. The front desk staff could not be nicer, and we had no trouble being English speakers.
The restaurants were a short elevator ride up or down. We went to the buffet every night (and this is where we had buffet breakfast). The meals were great: they always had a low fat option, a vegetarian option, and usually a specialty of local cuisine, which I can say from repeat visits were great. The chicken noodle soup was the best I’ve eaten. Breakfasts offered yohurt, cereal, cold and hot choices, and really delicious coffe and hot milk (and hot chocolate).
The thermal pools were outdoors and HOT. The outdoor pool is not as big as the 50 metre indoor pool, but it was longer than I was used to (good for me!). The spa area had lots of jets, jet baths, hot water, etc. Offically these are not par tof the hotel, but i am putting them in this review anyway, because it is all one complex.
We had lunch every day in the pool cafe. The pool facilities are open to the public, and it was really nice to have local families and bunches of school chilren there to enjoy or to learn to swim.
We were on half-board, which included free access to the pools and spa, and my goodness it is a bargain. Plus free transfers to and from the airport! Are we going again? You bet!
